SICIS North America, premier distributor of Art Mosaic, Interior Furnishings, Natural Stone and Decorative & Architectural Glass products has an opportunity for a highly motivated Executive Architectural Sales Assistant/Project Manager to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, resourceful, and on top of their game! No job will be seen as too big nor too small. A professional demeanor is required as they will interact with senior level executives, external clients, and vendors. This candidate must be able to work as part of a team and have the confidence and motivation to complete work independently with little supervision.
This person has experience working with C-suite executives on sales, projects and/ or procurement experience within the interior surfaces, flooring, interior furnishings, architectural and or decorative glass industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project managing from start to finish, including creating proposals, sending bids, following up on payments, processing purchase orders, getting render approvals, coordinating delivery of materials and etc.
• Working directly with the C-suite Executives, identifying priority activities and track and manage all associated tasks.
• Maintaining a close look at urgent requests, changes and edits needed to pivot direction accordingly.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with customers, providing ongoing sales support and handling service issues.
• Follow-up on incoming sales leads, recommending products and services to existing and potential customers.
• Proactively establishes positive working relationships with entire team, demonstrates excellence through positive behavior, flexibility, and effective communication skills.
• Develop a firm knowledge of the Sicis products, services, strategy, and philosophy for long term growth.
• Build great network/connection with specifiers and willing to go an extra mile on the marketing front.
• Work closely with management team to align campaign strategies and keep them apprised of changing policies, competitive developments, and industry/market trends.
• Leading the digital marketing reporting process and consumer insights to understand how current and potential clients are interacting with marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in executive administration.
• Experience with B2B and/or A&D Sales experience serving and calling upon Interior Designers, Architects, Specifiers, and/or Developers.
• Previous experience in supplying interior finishes to Hospitality and commercial projects.
• A fundamental understanding of pricing, forecasting, cost management and other organizational tools used in help driving a successful profit center.
• Excellent Networking Capabilities.
• Familiarity with job estimating and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to effectively and maturely communicate and collaborate with diverse personalities in all levels of management, as well as outside vendors and clients.
• Be punctual; maintain accountability and accept responsibility. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
• Experience in using graphics programs like Photoshop, CADD, Canva and similar digital graphics tools a plus.
