Manhattan Capital, LLC has an immediate opening for a part-time Graphic Designer who can work remotely. The Designer will serve as a creative visionary behind all projects and initiatives, and work in tandem in building multiple creative projects that concentrate on keeping our brand at the forefront of the industry. The Designer should expect to juggle many projects at one time and wear many hats, have familiarity with project management and work well in a team environment reporting to the Creative Director. The Designer will have opportunities to work with multiple brands/clients including but not limited to Manhattan Capital, Il Mulino, Products, and non profit school in an in-house agency style environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop text into consolidated and seamless interactive
multimedia programs
• Take creative and tactical initiative of projects, serving as the key point of contact for specific project development resources
• Interact closely with various team members, incorporating best design practices that support overall creative strategies
• Design/optimize sites, including templates, logos, landing pages, emails, marketing materials and other graphic/web elements; create graphics, style sheets, color schemes, templates, and layouts that meet company-wide standards and design aesthetics
• Use his/her strong knowledge of current graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements and various in-house produced materials
• Uses his/her refined and sophisticated taste in printing menus, interior design of restaurants and mastering other items within the design team
• Maintain website updates (Squarespace, WordPress) for various brands and product launches

Requirements:

• BFA in Art/Design (or related field) and 2+ years’ professional experience in design and corporate branding
• Must have an extensive knowledge of Squarespace/WordPress
• Outstanding client relations skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Revit, Rhino, Cinema 4D, or After Effects experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of the design process to deliver complex projects from concept to production
• A desire to solve design problems and the drive to challenge yourself
• An independent spirit but eager to learn and collaborate openly with others; thinking outside the box
• Flexibility in design with a strong skills in layout, typography, and illustration
• Organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
• Be passionate about design, technology, and art
• Dedication to detail, quality, and the pursuit of artistic excellence
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills a must
• Ability to work in a Mac work environment
• Marketing background preferred
• End-to-end product and project management experience a plus
• Work schedule entails up to 10 hours
