As an Industrial Design Lead, you:
+ Apply your passion to using fundamentals and tools in modern ways and desire to learn from others and grow.
+ Ask questions, experiment, and share ideas to create solutions that address real customer needs.
+ Leader throughout the entire process - from inspiration and research to building prototypes and communicating a vision.
+ Bringing integrated digital-physical experiences to life through brand, products, and
+ Inspire project teams to conceive, design, develop, test, and launch new products and services.
+ Apply systems thinking to design physical experiences that engage people throughout a service journey.
+ Identify opportunities and actionable concepts that align with user and business needs, design principles, and technical capabilities.
+ Effectively communicate and build relationships with collaborators and stakeholders in an advanced product development environment.
+ Collaborate on designing, making, and testing new solutions through experiments and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity–from sketches, renderings, CAD models, and animations to functional prototypes and build-ready assets.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or related
+ Experience in consumer products, transportation, design consultancies, or similar
+ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite design tools and at least one 3D modeling software application (Alias, AutoStudio, Rhino, or Blender)
+ Proficiency in presentation applications (PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar)
+ 5+ years of experience
+ Creativity and inventiveness towards features and functional solutions
+ Strong ability to translate customer and research inputs into relevant, desirable, and feasible product solutions
+ Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
+ Superior product design aesthetic sensibilities
+ Exceptional sketching, visualization, and modeling skills
+ Strong 2D application (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and 3D application skills (Alias AutoStudio, VRED, Rhino, Maya, or Blender)
+ Ability to lead projects in a multidisciplinary team environment
+ Ability to build low-fidelity prototypes and an understanding of production methods and prototyping processes
+ Creative use of digital presentation applications
+ Ability to develop design proposals from concept to production
+ Experience building inclusive and accessible design solutions

Base salary range: $117K - $222K
