Location: This position is based at Graham Packaging's Global Technology Center in York, PA.

Role Overview: We're actively seeking a talented and enthusiastic Industrial Designer with 3-7 years of design experience, although will consider recent graduates with strong portfolios to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in developing concepts and driving innovation across industries. Attention to detail in shape and design, coupled with genuine empathy for consumers, is essential. You'll utilize various methods such as sketching, 3D CAD designs, and renderings to interpret customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop creative design concepts and solutions for new products, emphasizing functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.

· Iterate on designs based on feedback from clients, internal teams, market trends, and end-users.

· Collaborate closely with engineering groups, manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams from Strategic Marketing, Commercial Teams, and Operations.

· Customer-focused with an understanding of diverse design styles, ensuring various project form options.

· Support the creative team with tasks such as project discovery, brainstorming, 3D form development, and consideration of human factors.

· Confidently present ideas to both customers and colleagues and work independently when necessary.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.

· 3-5 years of industrial design experience preferred.

· Proficiency in sketching, 3D CAD designs, and rendering software.

· Talented understanding of design principles and consumer behavior.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a sharp eye for specifics.

· Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States.

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
