Overview
The Industrial Designer role will establish high quality and innovative solutions for the protection of handheld technology. This position must ensure that the design and engineering work conforms to the high technical and organizational standards of Otter Products and meets or exceeds all requirements. This role will effectively communicate creativity and thought processes through sketches, 3-D modeling, images and/or quality renderings to the mechanical design team.

Responsibilities
Creates and develops design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users
Partners with internal and external marketing and design groups to research and analyze design trends and customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product design and overall design language and strategy
Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements with insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Design or Product Design required.
Minimum three years of experience required

USD $60,800.00/Yr.
For US Based Roles Only - Compensation Range Maximum
USD $80,000.00/Yr.
