Job Description

Everlane is building a first-class design team, and we are currently looking to fill a Senior Designer level position that will focus on the entire Men’s line including Wovens, Knits, Sweaters and Denim under the direction of Design Director of Denim and Men’s. This role will also be apprenticed to denim wash creation. You will be spending 30% of a week on assisting and shadowing denim wash creation. You must be passionate about fabrics, details, fits, and curious about technical aspects of denim. To this end, you will work closely with your cross functional partners in Merchandising, Technical Design, Raw Material Sourcing, Production and you will be reporting into Design Director of Denim and Men’s.



Your day-to-day:

• Conduct seasonal research on Men’s trend including Wovens, Knits, Sweaters and Denim
• Brainstorm new product ideas with Design Director of Denim and Men’s and CCO
• Design entire Men’s collection in close conversation with Design Director of Denim and Men’s and CCO
• Translate all Mens sketches into Illustrator and prepare technical packages
• Assist in organizing and managing denim fabric and wash standards archive
• Assist in the creation of wash briefs through selecting wear patterns, shade references, and detail references for Denim
• Assist in tracking denim wash comments
• Prepare presentation for major cross functional milestone meetings
• BOM creation and management of Men’s products
• Attend all men’s fittings including Denim. Own follow up actions for all Men’s products.

California resident: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation range for this role is $84,000-$120,000. This range is based on the San Francisco geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
