Product & Packaging Designer

At Best Brands, we license products for some of the biggest names in the industry including, Disney, Peanuts, Cuisinart, Farberware, Magic Chef, Imusa, John Frieda, Skintimate, Safety 1st and more! Our current assortment consists of over 5,000 product skus in categories such as Kitchen Textiles, Housewares, Health & Beauty, Baby and Pet, that are sold in major retail chains all over the US and abroad!
What You'll Do:
In this role you will have the opportunity to work on projects from start to finish, allowing for the creative vision to be consistent throughout, delivering best in class products to our customers. Individual tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Product Design
• Packaging Design and Engineering
• Merchandising Design (PDQs, Sidekicks, Clip Strips, End Caps etc.)
• Marketing Materials (Sell Sheets, Catalogs, and more!)
• Brand Marketing
• Visual Merchandising Presentations
• Market & Trend Analysis
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or other relevant majors
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop, Photography skills are an extra bonus!
• Experience in designing for Home Textiles, Housewares or Healthy and Beauty products is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Ability to multitask and manage to deadlines independently
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail – able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
