AriensCo's in-house design studio, The Forge, has an opening for a Product Visualization Designer. But not just any run-of-the-mill 3D or CGI artist - Our ideal candidate is a bit of a unicorn, but we know you exist. You have the ability to make your audience what is a render or a photograph. You are a creative and out-of-the-box thinker that can identify ways to showcase a product in new and impactful ways. You understand the future of the digital world and how to implement our products and brands into augmented and virtual environments. You are willing to take creative risks and have fun along the way.

In this role, you will be creating renders and stylized environments to support our marketing and brand strategies across a myriad of channels and continents. You will use Cinema 4D, Houdini (or other industry-standard software) to do this. The Product Visualization Designer will work with our team of graphic designers, editors, and cinematographers to create high-caliber, photorealistic CGI renderings and animations of our products in the outdoor power industry. A passion for teamwork, collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design thinking, and quality are critical elements for success.

THE DAY-TO-DAY...
Flex your creative muscle to showcase our product in impactful and unique ways.

Continually learn and stay in touch with evolving standards and development technologies.

Explore and propose creative concepts and ideas.

Maintain and improve the quality of assets by modeling components and parts that accurately represent the product in both real and surreal life. (Hard surface modeling).

Execute using a standardized process/workflow to efficiently execute on needs for new product launches (i.e., Master environment for large volumes of static renders).

Effectively communicate and translate needs with our creative, industrial design, and engineering teams.

Work with outside resources when support and bandwidth are needed.

Continue to improve existing workflows for Acquiring SolidWorks (CAD) files from engineering, transitioning into a rendered environment, and executing upon a standardized range of static/motion assets and final "Master" files.

Independently manage and organize your projects through our project management software (Asana).

THE REQUIREMENTS...
A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Media Arts, or equivalent is preferred.

3-5 years of experience in product visualization, product design, CGI, 3D modeling/animation, or similar role.

Experience in standardized rendering software, preferably Cinema 4D or Houdini.

Photorealistic product design visualization.

Mechanical rigging and animation.

Proficient in lighting, materials, rendering, and compositing with offline GPU rendering.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud - After Effects and Photoshop.

Possess a strong understanding of color and have a designer's eye for communicating in different and unique ways.

Ability to meet deadlines, communicate and work within a team.

Ability to discover, explore, and learn new techniques and workflows.

Ability to animate and composite products into a rendered environment.

Experience with automation and scripting is a plus.

Experience in Unreal and VR is a plus.

Sculpting skills are desired though not required.
