A Confidential Company is hiring a full-time Sample Coordinator for an in-house photo team in Minneapolis, MN. You will work closely with the photo and brand creative team to order samples for photo shoots, receive and inspect product, organize product for day-of shoot. You like to work on a team but can work independently to complete tasks on time and accurately. As a self-starter, you want to learn the job and then find a way to do it better.

Working with a shot list and creative guide to order product for shoots
Learn the product portfolio such that you are familiar with color ways and other product details that are needed when ordering
Learn the sample ordering software to become an expert at ordering
Learn other software used on the job (for example, job tracking or photo studio specific)
Check in and maintain accurate inventory of photo samples
Organize, correctly label for shoot and prep product for shoot
Tag, categorize, and store
Pull photo samples in advance of photo shoots
Maintain Check In/Check Out log for all consumers of samples.
Perform consistent labeling of samples
Maintain Sample storage area in orderly, easy to navigate fashion
Regular audit of samples, clean and sort sample space
Recommend process improvements
Other tasks as assigned

Requirements and skills
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year experience sample ordering or as photo studio assistant
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
Strong ability to prioritize work and multi-task successfully
Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Eager to jump in and help solve problems
Skilled on a Mac and PC
Background in visual design related field a plus (design, art, photography)
Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Superb with time management and deadlines
