We are seeking a UX Supervisor ready to deliver outstanding end-to-end user experience across every user touch point for the HGAS division of Honeywell's Sensing & Productivity Solutions (SPS) business. As a player-coach you will manage a small design team and take responsibility for UX research and design activities, helping to establish human-centered design principles that ensure Honeywell products and applications are the most useful, usable and desirable products in the marketplace. You will work closely with business leadership to develop brand strategies and product roadmaps that drive near-term tactical and long-term strategic programs.
Leading UXD major projects
Coaching and development
Execution of UX research and usability testing
Cross-functional UX workshops
User experience design best practice creation
Collaboration with other GExD disciplines
Roadmap definition for next generation
Initially this role will be based in Fort Mill, SC with the potential to move to the Greater Charlotte area, in the near future
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree or 12+ years' experience without degree
8+ years' experience in UX design
3+ years' experience managing a team
Significant user experience design and leadership experience
Outstanding user experience design portfolio or concepts and commercialized products.
Bachelor's degree in human factors, psychology, user experience design or related degree
Experience in industrial product design.
Proficient user experience design skills, e.g., customer journey map, experience diagramming, task analysis, workflow design, etc.
Experience with observational user research, ethnography, insighting and synthesis is a plus.
