Job Description

Florida Realtors, the state's largest trade association, seeks an experienced digital designer with a strong understanding of UI and the technical skillset to learn and leverage our content management system. The best candidate has experience with responsive design and a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Partially remote, but Orlando-based, the ideal candidate possesses a multi-disciplinary skillset including:
*Proven expertise in typography, layouts, color theory and photo direction for webpages and marketing emails
*Strong understanding of a user-centric process, as well as mobile-first and responsive design experience
*Advanced proficiency in Adobe XD (or similar UX prototyping tool), Illustrator, Photoshop and Sketch
*Understanding of industry trends and experience with content strategy and content management systems
*Understanding of web accessibility

What You’ll Do
*Design a variety of digital assets: landing pages, web banners, HTML emails, slide shows, photo galleries, and other marketing/communications assets
*Responsible for helping formulate an effective, responsive design
*Develop email designs that support our many events and product marketing campaigns
*Oversee our email marketing program: Serve as liaison to our email vendor, IPost; produce emails for our clients; redesign in-house e-newsletters; produce e-newsletters
*Repurpose campaign creative and brand assets into digital media assets
*Remain flexible to work additional projects as requested or as needed.

What You Need
Qualified applicants need to bring:
*Degree in UI/UX Design, digital design, or equivalent
*Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
*Outstanding creativity, with a portfolio of sophisticated, intuitive, and strong design work
*A UI approach to work with a strong understanding of web design aesthetics
*4+ years of experience with CMSs and front-end design
*4+ years of hands-on experience HTML5/XHTML and CSS
*Ability to write JavaScript
*Experience building responsive web sites
*Experience using layout grid systems
*Demonstrated time management and project management techniques to plan, develop, implement, and complete schedules, projects, tasks, and other assignments
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as necessary
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Clear and transparent oral and written communication skills

*Drupal experience
*Apple ecosystem experience
