Fruteca Orange is an academic project developed during the Design course at UNESP, it belongs to a collection of assembling toys inspired by the Educational Method created by Maria Montessori. According to the creator, the most important point of the method is the possibility created by the use of it to release the "true nature of the individuals" so that it can be observed, understood and that education develops on the basis of the child's evolution, and not the other way around. I developed this toy in order to assist the teaching of mathematics basics and improve living sensible experience during the study of mathematics, providing training to peel fruits for getting good health habits in the childhood.
