Homeless Safe - This was a two week project in which I designed a safe for homeless and third world people. It was designed so that the soup/coffee cup could be unscrewed from the bottom of the safe, and the safe could be cable locked to any stationary object.
Graphic Design Internship - Summer 2010, I worked with Terry Slaughter of The Slaughter Group in Birmingham, AL. I observed the rebranding and strategic planning process as he transformed KMAC Greenworks into Evolutia. I also worked with a nonprofit, The Simon Cyrene Foundation and designed this park bench/table for them. I also learned about letterpress and offset printing.
Daypack - This daypack was a self-guided project. I researched and observed those around me on my campus, and wanted to design a pack that was more focused for use on the trail, rather than the classroom. The materials are more durable, and component placement was a key part of my design.
Universal Carrier - Working with a local fire department, I designed a confined space rescue device that could be used where stretchers could not go. It has an integrated hybrid hard/soft structure that allows enough support of the spine and neck of the patient, while being able to be folded or rolled for easy storage.
