Yogyakarta Ground Zero
This was a project to be done by students in my college as a responsibility report after doing annualy Study Tour. This project had been done in groups of 7-8 students. My group got the challenge to redesign the Center point of Yogyakarta called "Kilometer 0". By using the experience we got in Study tour in Singapore we tried to apply such a memorial gallery in this place.
The most challenging part was the historical regulation of this place. we can't make something vertical across the imaginary line from Keraton to Mt. Merapi. So, we decided to make Memorial underground gallery called "Yogyakarta Ground Zero".
