Cosmetic Dramming Base: Estée Lauder - Materials Design in Glass and Aluminum for Estee Lauder. (I didn't know what a Dramming Base was either). I was hired by EL to flightcheck all the work coming out of the (rather unseasoned) design department. I ended up designing chairs and hats, and the things that the chairs and hats were leaning up against: cosmetic application counters. And I got to witness top-notch (Elizebeth Hurley) photo correction! Let's just say I often find myself wearing lots of hats and hardly ever sitting down.
Apparel and Poster Design - According to the Drug Policy Alliance, whatever you think of drugs, the war on drugs is a failure. I took their rather listless logo to that effect and lifted it out of the gutter. Now it can be seen on the backs of supporters of this reform organization across America. Hope they are right.
Jackie Wilson Remastered: Brunswick Records - I remember when my sister used to have all her teenie-bopper friends over when my mom was away. She would play all kinds of great records, much of it Motown, Stax, Rhythm n Blues and Soul from Decca and Brunswick Records. Of course, I remember hearing Jackie Wilson. What a thrill to work at Brunswick on the repackaging of Jackie Wilson, Tyrone Davis, The ChiLites and other masters of Soul.
