The five mesh panels on the side represent the five "Safe spot skate spots" that Rob has set up around the US, and the yellow pull tab is in the shape of the Sk8 for Life yellow ribbon that is Rob's logo.

Poesis Design Project - The goal of this class project was to create a product based from the poetic undertones of a short story of our choice. This womens running shoe was inspired by the story "The Age of Lead," by Margaret Atwood. The sole of the shoe is made from thin layers of poured rubber, so that as the runner uses the shoe, the sole wears to the unique topographic pattern of the individual.
