As part of a strategy to elevate fresh beef sales in Supercenters, Walmart selected us to redesign their private label brand, “Genuine Steak House.” The project scope included redesign of the identity, packaging and in-store signage. To enhance quality and freshness perceptions, our design strategy involved creating a real, down-to-earth brand character. A prestigious logomark intones overall quality and stands out clearly in the case, while warm, textured backgrounds and casually-styled typography impart an approachable yet genuine feel. Structural improvements to the packaging enhance the overall presentation. The result redefines and advances the private label brand with a new visual presence and fresh style.
