Red Ribbon Runway
The Winston Salem AIDS Care Service sponsors an annual innovative and exciting fashion design contest, known as the Red Ribbon Runway. They seek amateur and professional designers with a passion for fashion to create contemporary designs that inspire awareness about HIV/AIDS, and demonstrate respect for those living with the disease.
The goal was for designers to produce an inspired, high quality, wearable garment using three T-shirts provided by Hanesbrands, Inc. Other “repurposed” materials could also be used to enhance the design vision.
