Furniture Design Workshop - The Petal Table
Using Origami as my inspiration for the furniture design, I applied the folding of petals to the design of my furniture. I picked recycled aluminum sheet as my material for the petals due to its materiality and I folded the aluminum sheet same way as what I did on paper and merged all these aluminum petals with rubber stopper at the bottom to form out the base for the coffee table. For the tabletop, acrylic sheet was used.
