Trash and Treasure
For this project, my initial inspiration was rust, a natural consequence where a metal corrodes. Since its a natural effect, I decided to focus on natural dyes as well as an idea of reusing fabrics. The project ended up becoming a mixture of glamour and trash, recycling fabrics and turning them into dresses or gowns. To have more elements to my designs, I researched Margiela and Galliano, two designers with completely different styles yet similar at the same time.
