Cement Shoes

These boots were constructed using cement impregnated fabric to create structure for a hidden hollow platform, that otherwise would not support the weight of the wearer. The shoe was made using a hollow chipboard mold, which was slipped into a sewn fabric form after it was dipped into cement. The shoe is surprisingly light, yet rigid and strong due to the hollow platform and the nature of cement.
