Food Chain Dinnerware Set - Although dinnerware sets need to be practical and usable above all else they also provide a unique opportunity for creativity and decoration. In this case the concept of a food chain not only connects the four plates together visually but also references the act of eating itself.

Sketches and research were done to narrow down the final concept. The plates themselves were press molded on a jiggering template then decorated with their animal motifs before being fired and glazed.
