The Steelmon Table was a 15 week design project inspired, in part, by the early and mid-20th century modernist movement in design, combined with an appreciation of the simplistic yet complex organic patterns and structures found in nature. I worked with a rectilinear structure, creating a foundation to build upon a simple framework, adding complexity through detailing. The Steelmon table maintains a harmonious balance of natural and organic appeal and manmade industrial construction.
