This view shows one of the work spaces within the co-working environment.
It was important to make everyone in the space feel included. Adding an elevator within the lobby made those who were unable to take the stairs feel included.
This is what you see when you first enter the space. You are greeted by reception, and are able to continue to one of the three downstairs workspaces, or one of the four workspaces upstairs.
The conference room is a space that everyone is able to use. People sign up for time slots to host meetings within the shared space.
The library is a quiet space people can escape to to complete their work.

Urban Co-Working Loft

This co-working environment was designed for Urban Co-Working Loft. The company hopes to be a “home for creative beasts.” They aim to become an internationally-recognizable brand, known for promoting tomorrow’s concept of a dynamic, flexible workspace that focuses on sustainable, ergonomic design. Their first location will be in Helsinki, Finland, and will expand to Scandinavia and Western Europe.

This project was completed for my corporate design studio in the spring of 2019.
