Daycare Design- Commercial/Institutional
For this project, I was required to design a small daycare with classrooms that could easily and effectively accommodate children with autism. This entailed in-depth research to get a better understanding of the design needs of children with autism. It was the second project to work towards spatial planning and development, introducing the use and importance of an adjacency matrix. All final elements of this project are hand done, with the help from electronically done line work via the use of Google SketchUp basics.
