The French Lilypads - This environmental project, located at the Domaine de Boisbuchet in idyllic rural France, invites interaction with the beautiful river that flows untamed through the estate. The creation of the lilypads was an exercise in working within a tight budget - the use of welded rebar, cast concrete, and one wine bottle kept costs under twenty dollars and construction time under two days.
Pinch - Pinch is just like a lightbulb, but much squishier.
Words - Words is a booklight stripped of all unnecessary technology. Manufactured from discarded books, it gently hugs your book and fits softly into your hand while its miniature lampshade casts light only onto your reading.
Levity - The Levity table exists somewhere between lightness and its opposite: the physically light weight of the table belies its sound and sturdy construction; the visual lightness created by the gently sweeping legs and blonde maple veneer is opposed by the solid stance taken as the legs meet the ground; the intellectual levity of the table, with its playful cut-outs, complements the beautifully refined proportions of the piece as a whole.
Sexy - Sexy is a "keychain" made from a modified sex bolt. Super compact, fun to use, and gives added leverage.
