With the rebrand of Seattle Opera in 2015, we needed a new way to post the Spotlight Guides for each opera.

I was tasked with coming up with an in-brand responsive layout design for each production's spotlight guide as well as to code the spotlight guides.

After doing some research, I felt that we should treat the guides as long form articles on our blog. Each Spotlight Guide has a basic layout with special design elements specific to the content of the Spotlight Guide. By having their own navigation and incorporating multimedia elements, we can bring the user a more immersive and interactive experience while they learn more about the history and themes of an opera.
