Hack Day Projects

Once a year, for 24 hours we were given the option to skip our regular work and focus on any kind of project related to American Greetings. At the end of 24 hours, we were required to present to the rest of the hack day participants and judge panel. I always challenged myself to do my own project, all alone. These are 2012 and 2013's sample projects - of course AG holds the rights, so don't go getting any ideas.

2011-12 was kind of my year for Tablet apps. I created wireframes, mocks, and animation for a madlibs app for justWink. This project won me a 3rd place - and there were only supposed to be a first and second. Ya, I'm bragging-it won't last long, I promise.

For 2013's Hack Day, I kept it simple. The top three keywords during this time were : QR codes, Mobile Sites, and Content. I took all three and combined into a horoscope-style personality quiz aimed at just the right target audience. Another project that got me a special award from the judges.
