organic contemporary
This collection was created under the mentorship of organic contemporary label Stewart + Brown. The challenge: using motifs and materials from nature but with a modern twist. I started with my own photographs of tree bark, and then translated them into painting and fabric treatments. The final collection of knit dresses and jackets uses organic jerseys, natural dyes, original fabric treatments, and a mix of matte and shine textures within a tonal palette.
