Salvia - Animation by Alma Bañuelos, Hamlet Lin, Fanouris Moraitis and Eva Schindling - (c) 2006 The short animation (4 min) was created as part of the Microsoft student competition Imagine Cup 2006. The storyline revolves around the merging of life and technology. Our abstract interpretation is displays life as swarming plants, salvia as the distillation of human knowledge and technology as crystalline structures. The material of the animation is based on hundreds on original drawings, that were scanned, reworked and colored. The animation was assembled with AfterEffects and made use of the program's 3D layering effect. Salvia participated at the Audience Prize Competition of the International Film Festival PLATFORMA VIDEO6 (Athens, December 2-7, 2006).

Udo 77 - 'UDO 77' is a musical by the austrian artist-group monochrom. It premiered on 15/9/04 in the Rabenhof-theatre in Vienna. I created musicvideos for 3 of their songs that were screened in the background during the musical performance. The videos are animations based on lyrics and images. They were assembled and animated in AfterEffects. The musicvideo 'Er kennt leit' made use of the program's scripting options and dynamically linked sound-amplitudes with the animation of abstract figures.

Divers - Musicvideo - music by matthias - (c) 2005 The inspiration for this animation originated in the finding of a picture showing a divers-club posing under water. The picture was re-built as vector grafix and animated in After Effects. By using the 3D layer options of the program the swimmers were animated in an blue underwater world full of lights, and abstract shapes.
