Design Odyssey
Created a poster, schedules, and name tags for the University of Houston's annual Design Odyssey.
The theme that year was "Ownership - Never Give Up On A Good Idea".
I wanted to depict a historical event that really expressed the idea of ownership. After analyzing many events from the Napoleonic Empire to the discovery of America, I came to the conclusion that the Moon Landing was the best event that expressed what determination and unwavering effort can achieve.
I also like the controversial part of the story behind this event, since it also occurs quite frequently in the design world. The questioning of who truly "owns" it. Which was truly the first nation to land on the moon?
