Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Singhasari or Singhasari Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is located in Singosari, Malang, East Java and is considerably accessible from major cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar, due to many options of direct transportation.
As a Special Economic Zone in the tourism and technology development sector, Singhasari SEZ has objectives in community empowerment, heritage preservation, realization of an inclusive economy, creating future-ready education, creating a sustainable environment and a vibrant destination. This goal was then reduced to 6 key ideas, namely providing world-class education, content creation facilities, a complete computing centre, an inclusive commercial hub, best-value properties, and eco-cultural tourism.
