M alla enne _ MOOD - Collaboration between the Politecnico University and the furniture district of Matera; it is a project that aims for the raising of the district itself.
It was begun by our lab. in Milan and finished by architects and designers of Matera.
The results has been displayed during the exhibition "Super comfort _ Disagevoli ozii" in December 2010, near some of the best examples of italian design.
M alla enne _ PROJECT MILANO - What is Matera? Our group think that is stratification, because it is built on levels, and is isolation; moreover it has a particular relationship between the spaces.
From these points we have developed the idea of a module, like a singol level of Matera; the module, made of the inner materials of a sofa (wood and elastic bands), can be combined with the others to make up different solutions.
M alla enne _ PROJECT MILANO - From a singular module, which can be used for example like a lamp, you can get functional or conceptual ideas for your spaces; the great advantage is that you can trasform your furniture whenever you want.
M alla enne _ PROJECT MILANO - It has been projected an instruction book where you can find our eight suggestions, obtained with eight modules.

M alla enne - From Milan to Matera the project has been developed; the versatility is guaranteed by the transformation of a singular object in different configurations.
