Flux.2, Black Forest Labs. Flux.2 seems to exaggerate finishes but I think I may be able to control that.
Rendair Chat, Flux Kontext (regular). Chat result seems to be working better on this chair than the "image to render" mode below. Although I think it actually changed the layout and did more of a close up here, so not an accurate comparison.
Rendair "image to render" mode. The curving frame didn't look right here. Seemed maybe to be more affected by an imperfect SketchUp model image (see images below), than the specific style name and maker I had provided in the prompt. But overall look is nice.

Flux.2, Black Forest Labs. I think this is my favorite representation of the Haddoc E.C. chair. Such an unusual chair; challenging to render, probably.

Curved continuous metal frame at top is broken up in SketchUp rendering. Flux and Gemini seemed to understand,though, either through words "curved, continuous" I put in prompt or through the style reference (in words) provided in the prompt.

Preliminary results for two designer chairs - 4 ai-renderers
12.25. I tried rendering each of these chairs early, before I completed the scene, just to see how chairs were being interpreted by several ai-renderers.
The main thing I wanted to see was if the renderers seemed to be paying attention to the style name and maker, provided in the prompt, in addition to the SketchUp image (which might not be perfect.) Or, just which ai-renderer provided the nicest result.
Chairs are the Burra lounge chair, designed by Normann Copenhagen, and the Haddoc E.C. chair by Johanson. The chairs are being used in seating vignettes in a London co-working space.
