iPhone Nano Prototype (Standby) - I designed this prototype as an interaction study on the limits of the scroll wheel (from iPod). This prototype has two fixed points: 1. wheel 2. full-surface touchscreen Using the wheel is a form of sliding: while tactile feedback is absent on "click" operations (virtual keyboard), this is present in some ways when sliding. So, even if probably a touch numpad will be faster (even without feedback) I tried to see if there was a way to use the wheel for this task. Created on 2006-10-12.
