Cityscape

I enjoyed doing a collaged cityscape inspired by Romare Bearden. I admit it was a bit difficult
seeing as I had to crop out the shapes in the gradient colored background and make collages in
that shape, or at least I thought it was that way. The fun part was picking which pictures to use for
the collage, and looking for random house accessories to add to buildings. One thing I would thing
when doing it again is making it nondestructive; I made the mistake of painting over the
background instead of making a new layer then painting. The project sort of met my expectations; I
expected to completely finish the two buildings I started on the first day of the project and add at
least one human, even though I ended up adding characters from diary of a wimpy kid because I
was running out of time. I should’ve used the clipping mask even though I was confused about it,
but overall it was a fun project.
