Top - Vest body in black stretch sateen with princess seam panels in
black velvet fabric and covered velvet buttons. The collar on
wearer's right side has a black velvet lapel that joins on the
shoulder seam with abstract roses made of misty rose color organza
fabric that wraps around the neck to end in a skinny lapel on wearer's
left side.
Bottom - Black tulle short "tutu" inspired skirt in uneven layers
with raw finished edges.

Punk Girl Gone Retro - My inspiration came from the punk youth scene. However, I wanted to
revamp the punk look and make it feel more retro chic by using a
bright yellow tangerine color for the bolero giving the dark colors of
the dress a nice bounce. I wanted to create a flirty spin on a retro
style. The three-tiered dress delivers a sharp flirty recipe for chic.
The leggings give off a very punk look but yet can be worn retro chic
with just the dress alone with the bolero.
