Steeling The Knight
This collection was inspired from the "Henry VIII: Dressed to Kill" exhibition at the Tower of London in 2009. I have always had an interest for the British fashion of the Royal Armouries. I played a lot with shape, perfect cut, folding, pleating and draping to create this evening party wear collection for Autunm/Winter. It is a body chic conscious line with an explosion on shape, sculpturing a woman's curve. It consists of technically perfect pieces with exaggerated round, pointy and asymmetrical shapes. I wanted to create a modern party dress that doesn't follow the crowd. It is all about glamour, shape, structure and stunning colours.
