About the project - The problem: Hangers’ single configuration for installation forces users to change hangers every time they have a new need or when the room’s characteristics aren’t compatible with the design. Objective: To design a hanger that is versatile for the kind of objects the user can hang, the installation variations, the colors and the scalability of the product, deriving from complementing accessories like keychains or hooks that enhance the capabilities of the product. Goals: Guarantee the possibility to hang different objects, no matter the position in which the hanger is installed. Allow at least two installation configurations. The material should allow color customization. Increase hanging possibilities with accessories. Main Functions: The structure bending holds objects in place. Capacity to integrate accessories to increase hanging possibilities. Multiple installation positions without losing hanging potential.

Ideation- Three pages showing the progression of the concept. The one on the left shows boxy wallhooks with folded plate of steel, the one in the center shows a more complex shape, the first one has the an inverted v shape attached to a rounded square shaped plate to be installed on the wall. The last page shows the final design, It is a stainless steel wallhook, the body is a continuous wire with rounded foldings making the shape of an abstract angel.
