Discovery: Understanding the Current Situation
Discovery represents work products and deliverables created during the initial stages of a project. The purpose is to help the UX, client, and the rest of the project team build a shared understanding of the current state of business, the target audience, and other relevant information. That shared understanding provides a foundation on which the project team can build a common vision for a desired future state.
