Magnetically Levitating Globe
Specially built to illuminate from the inside, creating the appearance of the cities of Earth as seen from space during the night. Photo-sensor and circuit detects light so the LEDs inside turn on when there is no external light source.
Materials include Vac-formed PETG, a "Levitron Revolution" magnetic levitation kit, Resistor, Transistor, Photosensor, LEDs, and a battery.
Paint was applied through airbrushing.
