//// Travel is to venture into new places, without really knowing what to expect, history is an adventure in the realm of the future.
My works are not individual portraits but depictions of groups, for what interests me is the interaction and the dynamic relationships
between the characters. Most of the works evoke a certain connection with the traveler's feelings of temporality and ephemerality.
As any experience, travel defines us, but our identity can also change to some degree; some of the characters
in these works wear impersonal masks while others have heads of animals to reflect the peculiarity of the
world, both familiar and strange.///
