Digital Painting
For this project I had the choice of doing a self portrait or a portrait of someone else. At the time I did not want to waste time trying to take the perfect picture, so I decided to draw Janelle Monae. Why Janelle Monae? Because she's very beautiful and has a wonderful singing voice. I really enjoyed creating this portrait and loved the way it came out because it looks like her. Of course there's room for improvement, but creating this illustration in photoshop was quite an amazing thing to accomplish.
