GRENDENE - CARTAGO
Context
Grendene is a Brazilian company that is the world's largest manufacturer of sandals. The company has 45 years old and it famous all over the world for their products, with 6 factories, more than 50 brands, more than 24,000 employees.
Grendene was the first company in the world to use plastic for footwear, launching in 1979 Melissa, famous worldwide footwear.
Briefing
Cartago is one of Grendene brands, focusing mainly on men footwear. It was asked to do a research on new trends in the market to develop a new persona and and inspiration moodboards to guide the designers to create a new collection.
Outcome
The outcome of the research project was a "persona" named Modern Warrior, a man that looks for a balance between nature and techonology, living in the city but in his free time going to the wild to search of himself. The project was done in the second semester of 2015.
