Warm Glow & Cool Glow
Warm Glow (table), Cool Glow (lights) - It is often said that design is “fast” and that art is “slow”. This project is meant to slow design down to the speed of art. To create a designed space that avoids instantaneous understanding, & reveals itself to you slowly over time.
It appears that the lights are casting an impossibly complex shadow on the table surface. A few moments of inquiry are necessary before making the discovery that the table is lit and patterned from within.
