Fridge, oven, freezer seems an unlikely combination of diametrically opposed appliances. However, all these appliances are built using the same principles. The fridge and freezer are made to keep low temperature, the oven is made to keep the temperature high. They all require good insulation, and structurally they are the same.
1. Oven heater 2. Fan for airflow regulation 3. Door slider 4. Light 5. Camera 6. Refrigerator engine
Appliance front lid is opened with the multi-touch screen detecting a gentle move of your fingers across the screen, sliding it to the left.
Glass surface on the oven which enables us to follow the baking process through without opening the oven, is solved with the big “multi-touch” display which occupies the whole front surface, and a camera inside the appliance. This display can be used as a TV, and with the wireless internet it can be used for surfing the Internet, checking e-mails and searching for recipes. The Internet connection allows connection with other appliances in the household, including the living room TV.
A camera within the appliance can project the state in the oven to the door screen as well as to your TV through the Wi-Fi connection. It enables you to check out whether you still have a beer or pizza in the fridge or to control your cooking progress, without leaving your sofa. The appliance can be controlled by touching its door screen menu or simply by pointing your remote into the TV. You can adjust cooking time, temperature, switch to the fridge or freezer mode, zoom into sections...
Large display can be personalized with wallpapers and sticky notes application. There is no need for fridge magnets any more!
