Nar; Turkish Coffee cooking concept (IMMIB competition, honourable mention,2010)

Classical Turkish coffee is famous that it gets its most outstanding taste with cooking in a copper pot on live charcoals as getting the heat slowly and having two session of boiling.
Performing this tradition in our homes is too difficult because having a live charcoal needs long time, effort and cost, also causes smoke and results in serious cleaning problems.
The ‘Nâr’ is designed for having this traditional and ceremonial cooking style substituted both visually and physically by using lava stones heated by electromagnetic induction while enabling it cleaner, healthier and easy to reach solutions.
