The project was carried out as a collaboration with designer Pamm Suki, Victoria and Albert Museum, Stratford Olympic Park and Sarah Bonnell School.
The concept of the project argues that due to excessive increase of the world's population, the resident of London won't have the option to inhabit a new land and will, therefore, be forced to adapt to the new environment. One of the industry fields that will require a dramatic change is fashion. Garments will have to be redesigned in order to fit new environmental demands. Wetsuits will replace the majority of clothes as they will offer the best characteristics in the new habitat. The accessories that will be developed specifically for protection and oxygen storage will have to meet hydrodynamic requirements in order to allow people to maintain the fast pace of life which is typical for the British capital.
