Gracie Marquardt

The Hunting is inspired by the traditional costumes worn by Mongolian Eagle hunters. The vibrancy of the fabrics and colors beautifully contrast with how distressed the outfits become in the harsh weathers of the Gobi desert and the Altai Mountains in Mongolia. For this Fall collection, I designed with leathers, furs, denims and wool plaids and incorporated repeating patterns that mimicked that of indian blankets.
