Segment Helmet

The Bell Segment Skate and BMX helmet. 2012-2014

Industrial Design by Scott Allen.

The Segment uses multiple body EPS segments connected by a plastic injection molded connector which is in-molded during the EPS molding process. This makes the whole helmet semi-flexible.

My role was design of the segment connector, channeling, general construction considerations involving tool design, tooling release cad and testing management.
